According to rumors, the script was not written from scratch but was based on a series of comics in which Furiosa is kidnapped from a matriarchal post-apocalyptic society.
The title role has passed from Charlize Theron to Anya Taylor-Joy, and Chris Hemsworth will probably have to make up for the absent Max (Tom Hardy). At the helm of the filming is the permanent director of the franchise, George Miller, who, even at the age of eight, has not lost his former enthusiasm.

In the era of total stagnation of the genre, it seems that the shameless witticism Deadpool is almost the only one who is able to make a noise in this superhero swamp.

The cast does not shine with stars, but the author of the reboot of Evil Dead and the hit horror Don’t Breathe, Federico Alvarez, directs the filming. It is said that the creator of the original Alien, Ridley Scott, has already seen the draft version of Romulus — and was delighted.

Willem Dafoe, in the role of the “guardian of order from beyond the grave,” must somehow balance the degree of insanity. It will be possible to assess the chances of the story’s success in September.

The authors themselves declare the genre of the film as “historical fiction.” The audience will find a truly large-scale peplum with an extremely realistic depiction of the era but with free assumptions in terms of the plot for the sake of a twisted plot.
The focus will be on the nephew of the Roman emperor Lucius, who is involved in a whirlpool of political and corrupt intrigues. Well, it will not do without gladiatorial fights.
