Woody Harrelson and Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) are set to lead Giant, an English-language remake of the 2013 Argentinian film Corazón de León.
Marcos Carnevale, the original writer-director of Corazón de León, will direct the film. The script comes from Gonzalo Maza, the Chilean screenwriter known for co-writing A Fantastic Woman, which won the Best International Film Oscar.
Produced by Mike Lobell, Giant will explore themes of prejudice with humor and heart, offering a fresh and poignant take on the story.
