Jeremy Strong (“Heirs”) will lead the new Netflix series “Boys from Brazil), Variety reports.
The project is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Iira Levin. The plot tells about the hunter for the Nazis Lieberman (Strong). The hero tracks Dr. Joseph Mengele, hiding under a pseudonym in Brazil. Upon arrival, Lieberman discovers a criminal network organized by Mengel.
The author of the series will be Peter Morgan (“Crown”). “Boys” have already been adapted for a large screen in 1978; The main roles in the film were played by Gregory Pek and Lawrence Olivier.
