Charlie Cale is hitting the road once again as Poker Face Season 2 is set to premiere this spring, Peacock has announced.
Alongside the release date window, the streamer unveiled a collection of first-look images from Rian Johnson’s mystery-of-the-week series. Starring Natasha Lyonne as a quick-witted detective with an uncanny ability to detect lies, the show’s sophomore season promises a fresh slate of high-stakes investigations and an impressive lineup of guest stars.
Among them, John Mulaney is seen striking a pose against an airplane, while Cynthia Erivo appears in a remarkable transformation—playing three out of five sextuplets, each sporting a unique look.
A Star-Studded Cast Joins the Mystery
The 12-episode season will also feature a packed roster of guest stars, including Alia Shawkat, Awkwafina, Ben Marshall, B.J. A Journey Through Mystery
“Charlie Cale is back on the run, and in Season 2, we’ve taken her journey to the next level—one murder mystery at a time,” Johnson and Lyonne shared in a joint statement. “From minor league baseball to big box retail, from funeral homes to alligator farms, and even a grade school talent show, Charlie navigates her crime-solving existential road trip with deadpan wit, human empathy, and her signature uncanny lie-detecting ability.”
Critical Acclaim and Creative Team
Following its acclaimed first season, Poker Face received four Emmy nominations, with Judith Light securing a win for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
Tony Tost serves as the showrunner for Season 2, executive producing alongside Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman. The series is produced by T-Street, MRC, and Animal Pictures.
