
Netflix has officially renewed Running Point for a second season, just one week after its February 27 debut. The renewal was announced via Netflix’s official X account on Thursday.

About the Show
Hudson stars as Isla Gordon, the daughter of the Los Angeles Waves’ owner, who unexpectedly becomes the team’s president after her brother is forced to resign due to scandal. Now, Isla must prove her worth to her skeptical family, the board, and the larger sports world.

Alongside Hudson, the series features Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Jay Ellis, Chet Hanks, Max Greenfield, and Justin Theroux.
The show is created by Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, with Stassen serving as showrunner. Hudson also executive produces, alongside Jeanie Buss (Lakers president), Linda Rambis, and Howard Klein. Running Point is produced by Warner Bros. Television under Kaling International’s overall deal.
