Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly begins shooting a new film this fall! The cast and details of the plot are still kept secret. At the helm is the constant executive producer Kelly Ted Hamm.
Not so long ago, Kelly publicly stated that he was working on ten different projects. According to him, the written material is enough, at least for the “rest of life.” Kelly also expressed his readiness to move from the phase of writing scripts to the phase of production and directing.
It is worth noting that at the moment the filmography of Kelly has only three films — “Donny Darko”, “Parcel” and “Tales of the South”. The premiere of “Parcels” — his last directorial work — took place in 2009.
