‘Now You See Me 4’ in the Works as Third Movie Gets Official Title: ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’

Lionsgate has officially titled the third installment of the Now You See Me franchise Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and a fourth film is already in development with director Ruben Fleischer set to return.

Upcoming Releases and Casting

Before work begins on the fourth film, Now You See Me 3 will hit theaters on November 14. Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman will return, joined by newcomers Ariana Greenblatt and Rosamund Pike.

CinemaCon Reveal and Plot Details

At CinemaCon, Lionsgate premiered a first look at the film, which follows the illusionist thieves, the Four Horsemen, as they reunite after a mysterious disbandment. Eisenberg’s character initially claims his old team is “dead to him,” but they reassemble to pull off a diamond heist that spans generations, bringing in new recruits played by Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa.

Box Office Success and Future Plans

The first two films were commercial hits, grossing $350 million and $334 million, respectively. Producer Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman will oversee the new installment for Lionsgate, with Meredith Wieck handling production.

Director’s Enthusiasm

Fleischer expressed his excitement for continuing the franchise: “Directing Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was as much fun as any movie I’ve made. It combines two of my favorite things—heist movies and magic. Working with this cast was truly magical, and I can’t wait to keep it going.”

Lionsgate has not yet set a release date for Now You See Me 4.
