The leadership of the Lionsgate studio announced the release date of the new action movie with the participation of Jason Statham. The picture, called “Mutiny”, will be released on large screens on January 9, 2026. Jason will not only play the main role but will also act as an executive producer of the project.
The protagonist of the “Mutiny” Cole Reed accidentally witnessed the murder of his millionaire chief. After what happened after him, the pursuit begins — Read is forced not only to hide but also to disclose an international conspiracy alone.
The director of the film was Jean-France Riche (“This Awkward Moment”), Annabel Wallis and Roland Meller will be screen partners of Jason.
