Margot Robbie & Glen Powell Wrap Filming in the UK for Wuthering Heights and The Running Man

Filming has officially wrapped on two major Hollywood productions in the UK, with Margot Robbie and Glen Powell completing their starring roles in Wuthering Heights and The Running Man, respectively.

Wuthering Heights Concludes Production

Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights completed filming on March 27, featuring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw. The film also stars Jacob Elordi and Adolescence actor Owen Cooper, portraying the older and younger versions of Heathcliff.

Production took place primarily at Sky Studios Elstree, with some on-location shoots, including recent images circulating online of Robbie in a wedding dress. The film is expected to bring a fresh, modernized take on Emily Brontë’s classic novel.

The Running Man Wraps After Five-Month Shoot

Also concluding this week is Paramount’s The Running Man, directed by Edgar Wright. The dystopian action thriller, based on Stephen King’s novel (originally published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman), was first adapted into a film in 1987 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Glen Powell leads the new version, starring alongside Josh Brolin, Katy O’Brian, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, and William H. Macy.

The story follows a man forced to participate in a deadly game show, where he is pursued by killers for a month. If he survives, he wins a cash prize that could save his sick child.

What’s Next for These Projects?

Edgar Wright co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Bacall and also serves as a producer. With filming now complete, post-production is expected to begin soon, with both films eyeing a 2026 release window.

As excitement builds, fans can look forward to seeing Robbie’s period drama and Powell’s action-packed thriller hitting theaters next year.
