Plot Overview
The story follows Li Fong (Wang), a kung fu prodigy who moves from Beijing to New York City after a family tragedy. Struggling to adapt, Li finds himself drawn into a karate competition to help a friend. His kung fu teacher, Mr. Han (Chan), recruits Daniel LaRusso (Macchio) to mentor him, leading to a fusion of their martial arts styles in a climactic showdown.
