Russian online cinemas are negotiating with Hollywood studios and streaming services to resume cooperation. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources.
According to the publication, Western companies are more likely to go to dialogue with Russian representatives. There is no information about the resumption of the film distribution yet.
The Hollywood studios did not provide official comments on the situation. The main problems are political prohibitions, as well as the economic situation (for example, the issue of payments on Russian cards).
Most Hollywood Maejor Studios left Russia in the spring of 2022. Films of Lionsgate (John Wick 4 ”, A24 (“ Everything everywhere and at once ”), Neon (“ Soul collector ”), etc. continued to be released in the country.
