The romantic sci-fi “The Gorge” with Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy set a record at the Apple TV+stream service. It is reported by Deadline.
The picture became the most visible full-length novelty in the history of the platform, bypassing the “single wolves” with George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Apple did not present the exact numbers but confirmed the status of a new record holder.
The “The Gorge” of the director Scott Derrickson debuted on the network on February 14. The plot is about the two guards of the mysterious gorge. Their main task is to prevent evil from breaking out. Gradually, the heroes fall in love with each other and reveal the ominous secrets of the location.
Critics mostly positively perceived the film: 64% on Rotten Tomatoes, 57 out of 100 points.
