In an interview with Variety, the actor Farrell said that he had no much desire to continue to act in the continuation of the Penguin HBO series.
“I don’t really want to. But I want too. We spent ourselves for these eight episodes. I would not want only because of the so-called success, I had to start all over again, so that it was a diluted version … So I am not in a hurry. I have no much desire to do this. … Of course, if they come up with something that works in conjunction with the cinema -populated Matt Reeves, and this will be a good idea, I do not mind. But it does not care much so far, ”said Farrell.
HBO did not officially declare plans for the second season. The Penguin is the spin-off of Batman Reeves. The plot spoke about the criminal adventures of the Mafiosi Oswald Kobblepot in Gotham. Christine Milioti, Carmen Edzhoy, Clansy Brown, Michael Kelly and others were also shot in the series.
For his role, Farrell received the Golden Globe, the Awards of the Guild of Film Aactors (SAG) and the Choice of Critics.
