Director James Cameron spoke about the first reviews on the film “Avatar: Fire and ashes.” The third part of the blockbuster will be released in cinemas in December 2025.
According to Cameron, the first spectators praised the picture and called it the best in the entire franchise.
“I showed him a few chosen ones – reviews came to the fact that this is definitely the most emotional and possibly the best of three films at the moment. […] And the work of the actors is great. It is just heartbreaking, ”said the director in an interview with Stuff.
At one of the events in New Zealand, Cameron also noted that the tricel will open from a special titer:
“When creating this film, generative artificial intelligence was not used.”
The plot of “Fire and the ash” will tell about the new tribe of the people Na’vi from the planet Pandora – warlike and cruel people of ash. Sam Wartington, Zoe Saldan, Sigurny Wyver, Una Chaplin, Kate Winslet, David Tulis and others were shot in the picture.
Avatar made his debut on the screens in 2009 and became the most box office in history ($ 2.923 billion). The sequel “Water Way” followed in 2022 and earned $ 2.32 billion. In parallel, Cameron was working on the fourth and fifth film of the franchise – their release is scheduled for 2029 and 2031.
