‘Adolescence’ Breaks Netflix Record With 66.3 Million Views in Two Weeks

Los Angeles, CA – Netflix’s limited series Adolescence has shattered records, becoming the most-watched limited series in the platform’s history within a two-week period. The crime drama achieved an unprecedented 66.3 million views in just 11 days, surpassing all previous limited series records.

Unmatched Streaming Success

The series debuted with an impressive 24.3 million views in its first four days. During the week of March 17-23, it gained another 42 million views, cementing its position as Netflix’s most-watched title for that period.

Following Adolescence, the week’s second-most-watched TV show was The Residence, a Shonda Rhimes-produced drama starring Uzo Aduba, which garnered 6.4 million views in its first four days. Running Point secured the third spot with 3.5 million views in its fourth week, while the live wrestling special Raw: 2025 landed at No. 4 with 3.1 million views.

Other Top-Performing Titles

New animated series Wolf King debuted at No. 6 with 2.9 million views in its first four days, while Netflix’s latest version of the reality dating show Temptation Island ranked seventh with 2.7 million views in its first full week.

Paramount+’s 1883, which was recently added to Netflix, continued its strong performance, ranking eighth with 2.6 million views. Meanwhile, comedian Bert Kreischer’s stand-up special Lucky debuted at No. 9 with 2.6 million views in six days. Ms. Rachel rounded out the top 10 English-language TV series with 2.3 million views in its sixth week.

Strong Performances Across Netflix’s Movie Charts

In the English-language movie category, The Electric State held onto the No. 1 spot for a second week with 22.5 million views. The documentary The Twister: Caught in the Storm debuted at No. 2 with 17 million views. Meanwhile, the Korean film Revelations led the non-English-language movie chart with a 5.7 million-view opening in just three days.
